The planned development of Hinkley Point C has now reached a critical point. The Planning Inspectorate has finished analysing EDF Energy’s application, and a final decision on the project’s go-ahead is expected by Spring 2013.

Whilst waiting for the decision, EDF Energy continues supporting its Hinkley Point C Supply Chain system, which was built by Somerset Web Services. The system now has over 1000 registered Somerset businesses eager to play a part in the project.

Tier 1 contractors have already begun contacting local businesses using the supply chain system. If your business is not yet registered and you think you can play a part in developing Hinkley Point C, it’s worth doing so now as we wait for the final go-ahead.
