Is Your Website Secure? - Time is Running Out!

We posted a news article last year about the need for websites to use HTTPS

The Google Chrome team recently made an announcement on their blog that in July 2018 they will be making another update so that all HTTP websites are marked as “not secure”.
The image below, taken from their post, illustrates how this change will show:

From Chrome 68 in July 2018, the omnibox will display “Not secure” for all HTTP pages.

Other browsers like Mozilla Firefox and Edge are likely to follow suit.

These changes will make it even more important that your website is secure with HTTPS so that visitors to your website aren’t put off from browsing your website or contacting you via an online form.

We’ve already upgraded many websites to be secure but there are still many websites to be done.

If you would like to discuss with us how these changes can be made please do contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
