As well as being home to a great rugby team, Taunton Rugby Club’s Hyde Park is a hire-able venue for conferences, weddings and other private functions. The venue has several different sized rooms and a fully-licensed bar and often puts on special events such as tribute nights and Christmas meals.

Whilst Taunton Rugby Club already has a website for their rugby team, they approached us to discuss building a website to focus more on the venue itself and the facilities it offers.

Incorporating the team’s Maroon, white and grey colour scheme, the website includes the following features:

• Home page slider
• Events calendar detailing events put on at the venue and upcoming rugby fixtures (the next home match is also dynamically displayed in the website’s sidebar)
• Scrolling image of the venue that moves as the mouse moves (i.e. a parallax effect)
• Testimonials from previous clients
• PDF flyers advertising upcoming events
• Interactive features for each of the venue’s different food and drink menus
• Descriptions and floor plans for each of the different rooms
• Contact forms for general or sponsorship-specific enquires
• Timeline feature showing a colour coded fixture of list of all home and away matches
