New features added to Council Framework

Somerset Web Services have a ‘Council Framework’, used by various Town and Parish Councils such as Chard, Bridgwater, Ilminster and Westonzoyland.

We are pleased to announce that we have expanded the Council framework, with three new features now available.

Interactive Polls

When making a decision that affects your Parish or Town, it’s vital to take into account the opinion of the public. Our interactive polls are a great way of gathering opinions.

As well as being simple to use, they are attractive as well as serving a useful purpose.

Community Forums

Members of the community often have their opinions. What better avenue for them to do so than a forum?

Perhaps someone is thinking of visiting the area and would like more information on a particular local attraction?

Maybe there is a local club who need a private area online to discuss matters relating to their club?

The community forums provide all this, and more!

Business Directory

This feature gives local businesses to the Council an area to advertise their business.

There is also the possibility to make this a chargeable option – increasing the funds available to the Council whilst increasing the trade for local businesses.
