Have you considered installing a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) system for your website? Has an update been released for a piece of software you are using, such as WordPress, and you are unsure of the ramifications of upgrading?

When developing enhancements for clients, Somerset Web Services has its own test environment in which to work. However, most of our clients are not so fortunate and instead have to wait for the changes to be put on the existing live system before they can be reviewed.

This issue can be solved by creating a UAT system. This sits separately from the live system, and allows changes to be reviewed by the client at their own pace, away from the public. Only when both parties are happy are the changes added to the live system for the public to see.
