Enquiry tracking system for a national debt recovery company
Hermes Financial Solutions wanted a bespoke system to track enquiries for their Debt Management service which operates across all counties in the UK.
The system allows administrators, via a web front-end using dynamic forms, to enter new enquiries which are stored in a MySQL database running on a Somerset Web Services hosted Linux/Apache server.
The system dynamically allows the administrator to select one or more consultants who cover the region for the new enquiry based on a postcode. Emails are immediately sent to the selected consultants, where the first consultant to click on a link in their email claims the enquiry. Emails are then automatically sent to other consultants informing them they are 'too late' to claim the enquiry.
This 'first claim' feature empowers consultants to more efficiently manage their source of new business. It also allows consultants to be informed more fairly, as previously it was via telephone calls which unfairly gave advantage to the first telephone calls.
Once new enquiries are claimed, from this point onwards consultants, managers and administrators are able to track and update all enquiries.
This system has greatly simplified the full end-to-end process of enquiry management with a bespoke solution written around our client's specific business needs.
